(Episode 26)
Try it at home!
At home …
Make your very own “dinosaur” fossils.
- What you’ll need:
1 c. used coffee
grounds 1/2 c. cold coffee 1 c. flour 1/2 c. salt Small
objects to make impressions in the dough
Stir together coffee grounds, coffee, flour and salt. Knead
dough, and flatten out on waxed paper. Cut pieces large enough to fit
"fossil" objects. Press objects firmly into the dough. Remove object
from dough, and dry overnight.
In the kitchen …
Try this dinosaur dip with your little paleontologists.
- What you’ll need:
1 c. sour cream
1 c. yogurt
1 pkg. (1 oz.) ranch salad dressing mix
Combine ingredients. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Eat with crackers or
veggies.

museum!
At the library …
While reading, ask your child if he or
she can guess what will happen on the next page. If you are reading a
picture book, ask your child to explain what the pictures mean. After
the reading the book, have your child retell the story in his or her own
words.
