Eyes (Episode 24)
Try it at home!

At home …
  • Play “I spy” with your child. Identify objects around the house, and have the child guess what you’re looking at. Let him/her ask you questions for clues.
  • Practice winking.

In the kitchen …
Eyeball soup:

  • What you’ll need:
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding
    green grapes
    chocolate chips
Press one chocolate chip into each grape. Prepare pudding. Spoon pudding into glass bowls. Place grapes in groups of two into the pudding, chocolate chip side up. Place some of the grapes so they are “looking” out of the sides of the bowl.

At the library …
While reading, ask your child if he or she can guess what will happen on the next page. If you are reading a picture book, ask your child to explain what the pictures mean. After the reading the book, have your child retell the story in his or her own words.
