Imagination
(Episode 22)
Try it at home!
At home …
-
Charades and Pictionary are great games that provide creative exercises
by thinking up unique ways to communicate something.
-
Create a story by taking turns telling different parts of the story.
One person starts, and the next person adds on. See how wild and
crazy your story gets.
In the kitchen …
Making pizza is a great way to hone your
creative skills!
- What you’ll need:
Pizza dough
Tomato sauce
Olive oil
Any wacky topping you can think of (pepperoni, sausage, cheeses,
chicken, tuna, veggies, herbs, fruit, etc.)
Assemble the pizzas to your liking, and see how many different
combinations you can create.
Around town …
At the library …
While reading, ask your child if
he or she can guess what will happen on the next page. If you are
reading a picture book, ask your child to explain what the pictures
mean. After the reading the book, have your child retell the story in
his or her own words.
